My
name is Meg Mello and yes, I am a “Rajun Cajun” originally from
Acadia Parish and up-rooted to Alaska for a number of years where I
was fortunate to have been able to teach Special Education to Native
Alaskans. After I retired, I left Alaska and came back to the
“Lower 48” and to my roots in Louisiana. Although my husband
(Hyson), son (Bill), and I didn’t resettle in Cajun land, we did come to a lovely part of the
state-central Louisiana, also known as the “Crossroads”. I am still
teaching and trying to make sense of all the new laws that pop up
each day and are designed to help children learn-“Thank goodness for
my Bengals and Servals-they keep me sane”! I live in the country
and thus have ample room for my passion-the Bengals and Servals. To
me, life is not worth a hoot without a Bengal and Serval around! I
was introduced to both when my son went off to college in Phoenix,
AZ and was right away struck with awe at the amazing beauty of these
two animals. CajunBengals is the purrfect place to get the
“lap cat” Bengal of your dreams and put a little bit of the jungle
in your home. Our cats might even do the “new millennium Cajun
Two-Step” just for you!
I have the clear coated and glittered Bengals with
spots and marbled. Bengals-Marge Wren from the cattery found at
Bengals-Thomwren Cattery
(AZ) and
Gogees Cattery
(LA). My Servals hail from Tennessee and Texas.
We ship to all parts of the globe but please do come see us and
enjoy the hospitality that only this unique section of the country
can offer - have a crawfish boil or maybe just a cup of coffee with
us and let us share the cats of CajunBemgals with you! Thank
you for stopping by our website!
CajunBengals is TICA registered Cattery. I also belong
to The International Cat Association
and The International Bengal Cat
Society and have signed and abide by with pleasure. the breeding
code of ethics.
